Race Recap: War on the Shore 8.24.18 Girls Team

Monday was a tough battle against steep hills and soft sand for the majority of the girls. War on the Shore is undoubtedly the hardest course the girls team will run this year. The JV team ended up finishing 4th in team standings with beating many other varsity girls teams. Our outstanding performance of the meet was Hannah Burke. Hannah is a freshman and finished first on the team with a time of 23:43 only 43 seconds off her time at time trials with such a hard course! The girls team gave it their all and there were many other awesome performances. Overall, the girls team still needs to work out some kinks but it was a great race to watch the girls run.
