Thank you volunteers and other important annoucments

XC Families:

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make the Captains 5k race this past Sunday a huge success! It was a hot one, but fun!

A few announcements:

1. We need volunteers to help with the Friday Night Lights 5k race on Friday, July 13th. The race starts at 9 pm, but registration volunteers will need to report at 7 pm and course workers should report at 8 pm. If you’re able to volunteer, please contact Laurie Ferro (jimlaurief@aol.com) with your name, contact information and t-shirt size (for volunteer shirt). Students are welcome to volunteer also and can receive service hours for their help. Thank you for supporting the Pack Club!

2. XC Camp is Tuesday, July 17th through Saturday, July 21st and we are still looking for volunteers to help with food prep on Tuesday through Friday, especially someone to coordinate the food purchasing and ordering (a detailed guide is available to make it easy). Prep begins at 8 am each day and involves cutting bagels and fruit, mixing drinks and having everything ready for serving to the runners by 10 am. If you can volunteer for XC Camp food coordination and/or prep (or you have any questions), please contact Laurie (jimlaurief@aol.com). Again, thanks for your support!

3. Please note that the due date for the Pay to Play fee listed on the recently distributed XC schedule is incorrect. The actual date is August 15, not August 17. An updated schedule has been posted to our website. Please make a note of this important due date. Sorry for any inconvenience.

4. Please remember to register/update your runner(s) on Final Forms by going to www.mentor-oh.finalforms.com. Registering now will help the coaches with the rosters, as well as in the distribution of information to you and your runners.
