Volunteer Request for Captains Grand Slam 5K–Sunday, July 2nd

Hiya Pack Club!

Here’s another chance for us to volunteer and earn some funds for our group–and this is a fun one!  The Captains Grand Slam 5K is Sunday, July 2nd at the Captains Stadium in Eastlake.  The race is a popular one.  Runners get all kinds of fun perks and former Indian Carlos Baerga will be on hand to pass out finisher medals.  Our help is needed to guide runners along the race route, distribute water at water stops and guide runners near the finish.  The race starts at 9:00 am on Sunday morning but volunteers will need to report at 8:15.  If you’re able to volunteer, please contact Laurie Ferro (jimlaurief@aol.com) with your name, contact information and t-shirt size (for volunteer shirt).
