Mentor XC Updates

Hello Mentor Cross Country,

We hope all is well with you and yours!

We have a few announcements and volunteer requests:

The Cardinal Parent Club has organized a fundraising opportunity for us–we will be selling 50/50 tickets during the MHS varsity basketball game on Friday, February 17th.  Several volunteers will be needed to sell tickets in the stands and at our table.  We get to keep 50% of the money collected (the remaining 50% goes to the winner of the drawing).

We have been assigned to work concessions during the wrestling matches on Saturday, February 18th.  3-4 volunteers are needed to arrive at 5:30.  Hooray for indoor concessions!

As we look ahead to the upcoming cross country season, we will need parents to chair a few of our events including:

• summer lottery fundraiser
• pasta dinner fundraiser
• time trials picnic
• concessions for the Cardinal Classic and District meets
• parking for the Cardinal Classic meet

These events are long-standing traditions for our team and we’d really appreciate your help in putting them together.
