Race Recap: Gilmour Invitational Boys Team

The men’s and women’s teams put their heart and soul in the Gilmour invitational this past Friday. Due to weather conditions, the course became muddy and cold for the runners. Even with these conditions we have had a lot of runners place well and for some obtain a personal records. The men’s varsity finished strong and helped cheer on the rest of the team. In the men’s open, the boys were challenged with a rigorous course due to the multiple conditions but finished with a lot of spirit even though most did not see a personal record. Austin gained a personal record by 10 seconds. He was one of the few who set a personal record. Even though there weren’t a lot of records broken, the men and women put in their 100% effort.
