Race Recap: Fleet Feet Strongsville Invitational Boys Team
The boys took on Strongsville’s Fleet Feet invitational on September 24 and produced some very good results. The varsity squad placed 5th overall in very competitive field as the team practiced their pack running in a major way. Eight of the nine varsity runners took off in a pack and held it for almost two miles before they started to race for the line, and six of the boys finished with 13 seconds of one another. Matt Bull once again broke the school record, lower it from his previous best to 15:22. Michael Ferro and Tyler Fuerst also had a very strong races as they led the pack and kept it on pace. In the JV race, many athletes shined at Nate Warner won with a time of 17:22, Ben Nagle crushed his old PR and ran a time of 18:30, while Drew Wolf was an emotional leader of the team and broke 20 for the first time.
