Jen Butterfield is the girls assistant coach at Mentor High School in her first year at that position. She is in her second year working at the high school as an instructional technology teacher. Prior to last year, Jen taught social studies for 4 years while coaching middle school cross country for two of those years. She is a graduate of Kent State University and grew up in the Akron area where she ran cross country and track and played basketball during high school. Jen is married to Bill, who teaches at Shore Middle School in Mentor. She enjoys being outside, traveling out West, running and watching her younger brother and sister compete in cross country and track at Green High School.
